Promoting Permanency for Pregnant and Parenting Youth in Foster Care - VIRTUAL Youth Serving Professionals Focus Group

The Promoting Permanency for Pregnant and Parenting Youth program will provide adult caregivers with the education, skills, and resources to support parenting youth in foster care with the goal of increasing placement stabilization and permanency. This initiative is part of a comprehensive effort to address the unique needs of this population through informed, trauma-responsive, and two-generational approaches.
Audience: Youth Serving Professionals who are involved with youth who are expecting a child, have a child, or parented a child while in foster care in South Carolina.
Purpose: The purpose of this focus group is to gain insight from adults who are involved with youth who are expecting a child, have a child, or parented a child while in foster care in South Carolina.
Results from this focus group will be used to assist Fact Forward in developing a workshop for foster parents or caregivers that take care of a pregnant or parenting teen to increase permanency.
