Promoting Permanency for Pregnant and Parenting Youth in Foster Care - VIRTUAL Foster Parents/Caregivers Focus Group

The Promoting Permanency for Pregnant and Parenting Youth program will provide adult caregivers with the education, skills, and resources to support parenting youth in foster care with the goal of increasing placement stabilization and permanency. This initiative is part of a comprehensive effort to address the unique needs of this population through informed, trauma-responsive, and two-generational approaches.
Audience: Adult foster parents/caregivers in South Carolina who have or have had youth who are expecting a child, have a child, or parented a child while in their care.
Purpose: The purpose of this focus group is to gain insight from adult foster parents/caregivers in South Carolina who have or have had youth who are expecting a child, have a child, or parented a child while in their care.
Results from this focus group will be used to assist Fact Forward in developing a workshop for foster parents or caregivers that take care of a pregnant or parenting teen to increase permanency.
